Thank you for your interest in Legacy Core’s refund policy. This Refund Policy details who is eligible for refunds and the rules that apply. Your purchase or access to our credentialing programs and related Services, and this Refund Policy, constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Legacy Core. By participating in a credentialing program or using our Services, you agree to this Refund Policy. This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1) Digital Products Purchase Policy
Our products and Services are delivered electronically. All purchases may include instant access to credentialing program materials such as assessment modules, templates, downloads, resources, or access to our community. Because our products are digital goods and are often immediately delivered to you and cannot be returned, all sales are final except as required by law or where explicitly stated in this Refund Policy.
2) Refund Policy — Before Credential Issuance
Refund requests made before a Trust Badge has been issued are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Legacy Core reserves the right to approve or deny any refund request at our sole discretion and to the greatest extent permitted by law.
When evaluating a pre-issuance request, we consider factors including whether you have accessed or used credentialing program materials, the date of purchase, and the reason for the request. Contact admin@legacycore.com with:
- Full name
- Email address used to purchase
- Date of purchase
- Receipt or transaction ID (if available)
- Reason for requesting a refund
If we need additional information to confirm your original purchase and eligibility, we will contact you.
3) Refund Policy — After Credential Issuance
Once a Trust Badge has been issued, credentialing fees are not refundable. This policy exists because credentialing involves allocation of platform resources, administrative review capacity, and credential infrastructure at the point of issuance.
4) Non-Refundable Items
Except as required by law, the following purchases are NOT eligible for refunds:
- Downloads, templates, eBooks, PDFs, guides, resources, or any other digital goods delivered to you
- Credentialing programs where a Trust Badge has already been issued or where you have substantially accessed or participated in the credentialing pathway
- Programs purchased using a discount code or promotional coupon code (unless otherwise stated)
- Any subscription fees that have already been charged for a previous billing period
- Any one-time setup fees, onboarding fees, or administrative fees
- Partner offers or third-party purchases, including any subscriptions or purchases made through Legacy Core Alliance members or other partners
- Renewal fees once the renewal has been processed and credential status has been extended
- Fees where a credential has been revoked for cause (misrepresentation, Terms of Service violation, non-payment, or fraud)
5) Subscriptions / Recurring Payments
If you purchase a subscription:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time by following the instructions provided with your plan
- Canceling your subscription will prevent future billings but will not refund previous payments
- Any refunds applied to a subscription purchase (if offered) will only cover the most recent billing cycle and must be requested before credential issuance for that cycle, subject to the case-by-case review described above
6) Voluntary Cancellation
You may cancel your credential at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable after issuance. Your credential status will be updated and badge use must cease immediately.
7) Chargebacks / Payment Disputes
If you receive a billing charge that you believe is incorrect, please contact us immediately at admin@legacycore.com. We are happy to help.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without contacting Legacy Core may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account access
- Credentials revoked
- Prohibition from making additional purchases
Legacy Core reserves the right to provide information relating to your purchase and account activity to our payment provider and/or financial institution to process any chargebacks or payment disputes.
8) Fees
Refunds exclude any fees from third-party payment processors, banks, or providers; currency conversion fees or international transaction fees; and fees assessed by any third-party platforms we do not own.
9) Exceptions
Legacy Core reserves the right to issue refunds or credits at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, regardless of the policies above, to the extent permitted by law.
10) Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted with an updated effective date on this page. If you continue to access the Services after the effective date of any changes, you agree to the changes.
